Mystery Tackle Box Elite [May 2019]

Finally! Open water fishing season is upon us and Adam has received his May Elite Bass box from Mystery Tackle Box. With this one he is looking to target the hard fighting small mouth bass.

Unboxing the May Elite Bass Box

This months box was dominated by soft plastic lures, with a few hard body lures and braided fishing line. The Lures featured in this box are a unique play on hooks that are proven effective at catching bass. This box supplied everything but the fishing rod!

Watch Adam struggle to pronounce the the unique names for some of these hooks including a Castaic Swim bait. A nice green/gold color scheme, with an oil sheen finish, this jerkbait is sure to make the bass hungry!

Adam then goes on to find a rather distinct take on a frog lure from Teckel, the Sprinker. Pearl white, with an orange head, and black markings on the stomach however, what sets this frog from all the others is the jointed paddle tail attached by a swivel.

This box was plastic heavy but all of them were different, from super detailed to super stinky. Lunker city lures provided one of thee most detailed plastics Adam has ever come across. Game Changer Lures surprised Adam with their heavily scented lures that smelled like shrimp. One can never have enough plastics in their fishing arsenal.
