Mystery Tackle Box Pro [April 2019]

April Pro Walleye

Open water season is finally upon us! Spring Walleye season is here. True to the spirit of True North Wilds and the coming Walleye season, Adam has moved his studio outside for this months unboxing of the MTB April Pro Walleye box from Mystery Tackle Box.

Unboxing the March Pro Walleye Box

Opening up the April Pro Walleye box has revealed a nice selection of plastics, diving cranks, jig heads, and lip-less cranks.

Some diving crank baits including the Distress 6F from Lunker Hunt. The Distress 6F is a floating 3.5 inch erratic action crank bait with a 6 foot dive depth. This baits profile has a nicely defined and highlighted scale pattern with a big thumping rattle.

Some shallow diving hard baits, including another Thwacker from Karl’s Baits. Adam first discovered this amazing lip-less crank bait during the April MTB Elite Bass Box. There is peace of mind in having a second Karl’s Baits Thwacker, should a monster Walleye decide to keep the “pill”. Of course, I did not have a Karl’s Bait Thwacker…until now…gee thanks Adam! you’re the best!

A couple packages of glow jigs from Bait Rigs and Blakemore. Jigs with minnows are definitely a productive combination for the local lakes and rivers.
